--Cropping--
With this feature, you can crop any edge of the frame: you just have to enable it and enter the amount of pixels you want to crop from each edge.
Even numbers are preferred.
Negative numbers are allowed: in most cases, they will add a black border to the picture.

You can choose between three different cropping modes: "Destination", "Source", "Scale".

"Destination"
Cropping is relative to pixels in the destination movie.
The frame size of the resulting movie will be changed.

"Source"
Cropping is relative to pixels in the source movie.
The frame size of the resulting movie will not be changed, and the picture is stretched to fit the destination frame size.

"Scale"
Cropping is relative to pixels in the destination movie.
The frame size of the resulting movie will not be changed, and the picture is stretched to fit the destination frame size.

Note however that If you choose the "Destination" cropping mode with a DV frame size, MPEG Streamclip will use "Scale" instead.

■Destination
設定したフレームサイズから、指定したピクセルをクロップ。
クロップした分だけフピクセル数は減る。
（出力される映像は設定よりも小さくなる）


■Source
ソースの映像から、指定したピクセルをクロップ。
クロップした分映像が引き延ばされるため、フレームサイズは設定通り。
（出力される映像の大きさは変わらない）


■Scale
設定したフレームサイズから、指定したピクセルをクロップ。
クロップした分映像が引き延ばされるため、フレームサイズは設定通り。
（出力される映像の大きさは変わらない）

480x360 (4:3) の映像を 640x360 (16:9) にエンコードする場合。
Cropping を Right=60 に設定すると、

■Destination
480x360 を 640x360 にスケーリング
↓
右60ピクセル分クロップ
↓
580x360 の映像が書き出される




■Source
右60ピクセル分クロップ
↓
420x360 が 640x360にスケーリング
↓
640x360 の映像が書き出される




■Scale
480x360 を 640x360 にスケーリング
↓
右60ピクセル分クロップ
↓
580x360 を 640x360 にスケーリング
↓
640x360 の映像が書き出される

FLVをPS3で再生可能なファイルに変換する

現状、PS3はローカルに保存したFLVを再生できない。
なので、PS3にもってくる前に変換する必要がある。

というわけで、YouTubeとかでダウンロードしたFLVをPS3で再生できる形に変換する方法。

・QuickTime Pro
「ファイル」-「書き出す...」-「ムービーからApple TV」

・MPEG Streamclip（要Perian）
「File」-「Export to MPEG-4...」を選択。
　詳細設定パネル右上にある「iTunes」ボタンを押し「Apple TV」の項目を選択。


MPEG Steamclipはバッチ処理も可能。
